Student Information & Registration

Add a student (enter up to 30 students). Each student must have a signed waiver/release form to participate. You may upload a signed release form now or bring one to the conference.

If your student would like to audition for the Master’s class they will be required to submit an audition video. The student will receive an email at the address provided in their registration with details on video submission and a deadline.

If you are not chosen for the Masters, you will be placed in the Workshop in the level you chose above. There will not be any walk up auditions and therefore must be determined during the registration process.

Our group would like to participate in the Showcase Competition on Friday, July 10th

In honor of our 35th Anniversary and this year’s theme, “¡Viva La Canción Ranchera!”, we are requesting that each group incorporate at least one traditional ranchera selection into their 7-minute Showcase set.

The length of the ranchera piece is at the discretion of each individual group, provided your overall performance remains within the designated 7-minute timeframe.

Mariachi Spectacular Showcase will only be accepting the first 16 groups.

Additional Note:

The traditional ranchera should have a time signature of 2/4 or 3/4. The José Alfredo Jiménez Songbook is a strong point of reference along with similar pieces. We are looking for thoughtful and expressive interpretation, both musically and vocally.

We appreciate your support in helping us celebrate this important milestone and in highlighting the rich tradition of ranchera music as part of this year’s program.

Parents and guardians must use special wristbands that will allow them access to the jam sessions. They are only for the jam sessions, and will not grant access to any of the conference workshops or the Saturday Spectacular concert.

Parents and guardians can buy a Parent Pass for $50 which includes a wristband for each session, access to designated breakout sessions, and a concert ticket in the student section. Additional and replacement wristbands can be purchased for $10 on a daily basis at the jam sessions.
